Boar’s Night Out Championship BBQ (Eric Hodson & Allen Smith)

It all started in 2006 as a bunch of friends hanging around the fire pit drinking beers and cooking meat. By 2010, Eric Hodson and Allen Smith had officially lit their first pit in Memphis as Boar’s Night Out.
Since then, Boar’s Night Out has won multiple Grand Championships, numerous first-place calls, and developed the popular World Championship line of White Lightning Rubs—the winningest rubs in the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA).
